Revised 9/19/19

REFUND POLICY

Coaching programs do not allow for refunds, except at the discretion of Meredith Atwood, and under extraordinary circumstances. I have the right to discontinue coaching at any time, for any reason. If I choose to not onboard you as a client for any reason before the start of the program, you will be refunded your full amount paid. If I do not hear from you (via any method) in 2 weeks after we begin, the program will be discontinued for you and no refunds given. No refunds are given after the start of the program.

FTC DISCLOSURE:

As a blogger (and your favorite blogger), I am required to disclose to my special readers any of my sponsors and relationships to them…if I post about them or their products, receive cool stuff or swag, etc. This blog is not primarily financially driven. In fact, if it were, I would starve and my kids would be forced to be on the Disney Channel as little stars to pay for their mommy’s triathlon habit.  I put it up in 2010 to build a community, to rave and complain, and to inspire (wherever possible).

That said, beginning December 1, 2009 and revised in 2013 and recently revised, the FTC requires bloggers and social media influencers to provide disclosures, sponsorships and sponsored products whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations.

First, the simple: I am a wife, mother, attorney, triathlete, Ironman and blogger, and I run a little company called Meredith Atwood, LLC (Swim Bike Mom, LLC).  As stated before, no one is getting rich here.  But, a list of some of the organizations and companies Swim Bike Mom partners with (or has partnered with since its inception in 2010) are:  All3Sports.com, Quintana Roo, Klean Athlete, FitFluential, Swiftwick, Gulf Coast Triathlon, ROKA Sports, Clif, AudioFlood, Huma Gel, Koss, Rapid Reboot, Getting2Tri Foundation, First Choice Sports Rehab, PTS Sports, Tri*Fe Tri, Koss Headphones, EC3D Sports Compression, Huma Gels, Ramblin Rose Events, Georgia MultiSports, TriSports.com, Orr Cycling, Ride Blue USA, Tailwind, St. Anthony’s Triathlon, Cannon Cyclery, IRONMAN, Pear Sports, Athlete Inspired.

“Second, the less obvious [disclosures]: Per the FTC rules, if I interview someone and they grab the bill for lunch, I would need to specify this. Ditto if I use an Amazon link that gets me 8 cents instead of an Amazon link that gets me 0 cents. If someone gives me a comfy t-shirt with a logo and I wear it in a photo, same deal. Disclaimers all over the place. This would be tedious for me and a continual eye sore for readers. But rules is rules.

To cover my ass and preserve your reading experience, please assume that, for every recommendation, link, and product I use, the following all hold true:
