I have taken a few days off from my training to get some personal stuff straightened out, and now I am a ready to plunge back into the game with Coach Monster’s spin class tomorrow.  I am playing Eye of the Tiger in my office, putting on my leg warmers and ready to Get Physical, Physical.

Perhaps not… but here’s some Thursday motivation, inspiration and revelation to get us through the holidays.  Love to you all!
“Believe in yourself. Have faith in your abilities. Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.”  Norman Vincent Peale

“The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.”
-Oprah

“The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you’re not good enough. On occasion some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don’t take it personally when they say “no” – they may not be smart enough to say “yes”.”  Keith Olbermann

“The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn’t matter which road we embark on.
Maybe what matters is that we embark.”– Barbara Hall

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.” -T.S. Eliot

“You have to wonder at times what you’re doing out there……but it always comes back to where it started. It comes down to self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement.” – Steve Prefontaine.

“Enjoy your journey. Stop trying to be what you’re not. Listen to your body. Be who you are, right in this second. Be that person. Be grateful.” – Coach Monster

  1. Thanks for this! I needed it today. Too many cookies to bake and gifts to wrap. I'm glad someone else needs a break from training to deal with life every once in a while 🙂

  2. Well, I think the "Next Day" is a day of the week. Just not "The Next Next day." All these rules….:)
