I am sitting here, lamenting about how I am quite fat and lazy this week.  Before you roll your eyes,  let’s discuss what I have eaten since the race.  Seriously.  I will ignore the post-race meal.  But I am putting this out here so I can be adequately shamed.

Monday: (Drive home from Miami – this is off the hook, serious)  egg burrito, chocolate glazed doughnut, sour cream glazed doughnut, coffee with cream, large bag of Doritos, Red Bull, 2 Reese’s cups, 3 Steak ‘n Shake mini burgers (with cheese), small strawberry milkshake (hold the whip cream, I’m watching my weight), 1 bag of peanut butter M&Ms, Vitamin Water Zero, 4 pieces of Pizza (it’s veggie.. so it’s healthy), 2 beers, 3 glasses of wine, 1 nutty bar, 2 ramekins of Goldfish crackers

Tuesday:  (Back to work… I’m going to eat well)  yogurt, Mix1, yogurt, Mix1, 3 handfuls of M&Ms, doughnut, turkey sandwich with fries, 4 pieces of pizza with extra cheese for dinner, 3 beers

Wednesday:  Mix1, yogurt, Mix 1, 1/2 pound hamburger with blue cheese and onion rings, giant plate of fries, Mix1, 5 beef tacos from Taco Bell, 2 cups of Goldfish, 2 glasses of wine, 2 beers

Thursday:   Starbucks frappucino, cheese, Mix1, Chick-fil-a nuggets and large waffle fries, 2 handfuls of peanut M&Ms, 5 pieces of pizza for dinner, banana, cheese, 1 cup of Goldfish crackers, 3 glasses wine

Today:  Einsteins Bros. egg & cheese sandwich, Starbucks mocha, pumpkin scone, Sonic burger with cheese, tater tots, crackers, M&Ms….AND… I intend to fully eat my weight in chips, margaritas and Mexican fiesta tonight.

Okay.  Tomorrow, it stops.  After the cocktail hour.  Tomorrow…it stops!  It must!  This is going nowhere good.  (Maybe somewhere DELICIOUS… but nowhere good…)

  1. Okay, this was funny. I didn't see the comma at first and read it like, "doughnut turkey sandwich with fries." I just wondered, where's the bacon! You're not alone… eating post race is hard. Body is looking to refuel, probably thinks it's going to go into more training, and not rest! 🙂
