Oh.  Yes.  I.  Did.

(Matty Reed at the Muscle Milk tent. :))

I have ants in my pants, much like the St. Anthony’s “time to rest” day.  Antonia (my bike) is racked, along with the Expert’s bike.  Everything is ready.  I’m sitting around in my compression socks, icing miscellaneous body parts and snuggling up, ready for the Georgia / Florida game.

Not much else to say.  Just eeeeek and yaaaaaay and woooooo hooooo.   Here’s a picture story.

Met a couple of SBM friends at the Expo today – Drew (from Kansas City) saw me carrying around the sign, and stopped to chat (yay!)… and Leslie and I found each other after bike check-in. What fun!

Well, that’s all folks.

This time tomorrow, I hope to have some maddeningly good news to share. You should be able to track through IronmanLive, or here (I am bib #806; Expert is bib #1905… I start about 7:40, and he starts about 8:40).  Thanks again for all the well-wishes and support.  Love ya’ll.

Until the finish….

  1. OK I know I said it before but I am SOOOO excited for you!!! Can't wait to read all about it. Will be tracking you from Kentucky!

  2. Not sure if you will be checking in here before the race but if you do: GOOD LUCK and have a great time! If you don't: Hope you had an amazing race!!

  3. Good luck today! I finished my first half yesterday and thought of all of your great blogs leading up to the big day. I felt each blog was written to me (particularly because of the same struggles and the timing of our first race) Soak it all in and enjoy it! And let the waterworks fly at the finish!
