I could hear the three year old boy child sing songs and jabber all night long, and I think I have slept two hours.  I also ate garbage for dinner and lots of Goldfish crackers (the evil little snack attackers). I was just so hungry after the wetsuit activities…and now I have a 4.5 mile run to pull off.

I am going… I am just slow moving.  Help me, Tom Cruise…. Help me, Oprah Winfrey.

Done.  The hardest 4.5 miles in the history of all the world.  I think I may not have been running at all, but floating above my slow body in a dream-like triathlon trance…. Time to get the diet back on track.  Clearly.

  1. I hear you! My torture was in swim form this morning – 2500 yards at 5:30 in the morning. Slept poorly too, can't blame the kids though. Just kept waking up & looking at the clock, thinking I'd missed my alarm. At 3 AM, 3:30, 4, 4:15, 4:30. At 4:40 I gave up & got up.

    Good job on your run this morning. Way to push through. Mine is supposed to be 4 miles tomorrow.

    BTW, you have inspired me to roll out the old wetsuit and make sure it still fits me. Tonight. I swear. But *with* bodyglide. 🙂

  2. Awesome! Tell that wetsuit who's boss! Lots and lots of bodyglide. Tell me it really makes ALL the difference… it has to. 🙂
