I said it once, and I’ll say it again.  The best advice I have stumbled upon regarding my triathlon dream is: do not worry about how bad/fat/silly you look while doing it. 

Man.  I received the link to the professional photos from last weekend’s triathlon. The sheer sight of me in the run to bike transition is almost enough to make me quit.  I am proud of the fact that I finished the race.  But I am humbled by the realization of just how far I have to go.

I am scheduled for the Fall Chill Duathlon this coming Sunday.  It’s a 4 mile run, 16 mile bike, and then finish with a 2 mile run.  My mind is ready, but my body is not cooperating.  I am pretty obliterated from last weekend’s triathlon.   Just not too sure if I’m going to make it to that race.
