I realized that I get alot more reads when I title a post with “naked.”  Fooled ya.

Okay, well, just because you visited, I have this for you.

Now, aren’t you glad you stuck around?  Apparently, people do ride bikes naked, and there’s a whole movement surrounding it.   Okay. One more picture.  This is a little easier on the eyes.

This morning was a patented Coach Monster spinning class.  Only about seven straight minutes of standing flats and a time trial and rolling hills.  Awesome, I had my therapy (spin class) for the week, am working on my coffee and getting ready for another super fun day in the practice of law.  Of course I’m serious, why do you ask?
On the training books for the weekend:  55 minutes of continuous swimming tomorrow with some stability/core work, and a brick on Sunday (44miles plus 3 on the legs).
I am looking forward to the swim.  All of the sudden my swim has jumped the tracks, and I am flying.  I have started concentrating on rotating my body more through the water and it’s made a huge difference.  Yesterday, I pulled a two mile swim out in 1:00:24. Which is nice because I feel like an elephant wearing another elephant most days….it’s nice to feel slightly speedy at something. Even though no one ever wins races based on the swim.
Countdown to Ironman 70.3 Miami:  16 weeks.  Scary stuff.  I have to remind myself to just keep moving forward.  This time last year, I wasn’t able to run three miles. I just threw down 6.2 on Monday (well, “three down” is a little bit of an exaggeration….), and anticipate a 10 miler this week.  Anything is possible. And I am reminded of that very fact when I read about heroes, like this woman: Blind Ironman Crushes Records.  Amazing.  Makes me stop and think when I am apt to whine.
Just a reminder, Swim Bike Mom is on Facebook, and this month, I’m giving away Trek water bottles and t-shirts.  So if you wanna “like” me… you might win something.  If you don’t like me, then just send my link to your worst enemy, along with the underpants man in the first picture.

What’s on the training books for you guys in the next few days?  Who’s racing?  I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
