This morning’s swim was more of a mission not to drown. I exaggerate, okay. But every single muscle in my body, down to my eyelids, is sore. I managed fifty laps in the 25 yard pool, so almost three-quarters of a mile (0.71 mi). I also managed to swim much more continuously today without stopping, so overall, Operation Do Not Drown was a success.

I am looking forward to my trip to Sydney in ten days, but am wondering what kind of challenges I will face with my baby training. The hotel where I am staying has a lap pool, so that is a start. I want to do the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, so I think that will sub for my run one day. Now, I just have to find out if these Aussies believe in the gospel of spinning…
